Why leave a stable job — like teaching — for copywriting?

In one word, freedom.

Freedom from bureaucracy.

Freedom from expensive paper qualifications.

Freedom from meaningless paperwork and tasks.

Freedom to just FOCUS and enjoy the thrill of mastering my craft.

Freedom to go wherever I want, any day of the week.

Freedom to fly across the world and jump on new opportunities at a moment’s notice.

Freedom to spend more time in the woods, in the mountains, and by vast bodies of water.

Freedom to work with good, kind people who respect me and pay me well.

Freedom to spend time at home with my partner and cats.

Freedom to set my own schedule, have time to exercise, and prepare homecooked meals.

I spend less money and live more simply than I did as a teacher… but I am healthier and happier than ever.

Does every day look like this? Hell, no.

In busy periods, I’m writing and researching ALL the time.

But it’s something I CHOOSE to enjoy.

I’m no longer feeling stuck, burnt out, or guilty about whether I’m doing enough.

And I want to help other transitioning teachers find the same kind of freedom.

That’s why Ben Henken and I are holding a free Q&A about leveraging your teaching experience to break into copywriting.

We meet online in a few days on Sat, Jul 8th, 10am EST.

Hurry, spots are filling up quickly. You need to be on our guest list to join the Google Meet.
