How do you keep the ideas flowing as a copywriter?
What’s your process for making sure your brain doesn’t settle for the same old hooks… the same few ways of talking about a product… or repeating the same old phrases your competition uses?
My recent trip to Nashville reminded me of why at the tender age of 17 — beguiled by dreamy travel photos on Tumblr (man, remember THOSE days!?) — I declared to my parents:
“When I grow up, I’m going to make a lot of money and travel the world.”
Nashville made me realize I’ve been forgetting to make good on that promise to 17-year-old me.
